The SEO team manage all search activity for clients across Technical SEO, Content, UX and Digital PR. SEO has become an integrated discipline, meaning you’ll also be working with specialists in paid media (PPC, Programmatic, etc) social media (Meta etc), and above the line (TV, radio, and more). Ultimately, we are looking for an inquisitive problem solver with a can-do attitude that is looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced, agency environment.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Head of SEO, the Senior SEO Executive will be a key part of a successful team to help improve organic performance across our clients. You will build and implement SEO strategies for clients and work closely with the wider team to cover all aspects of SEO.

  • In-depth website and technical SEO audits, finding opportunities to improve and building roadmaps to fix SEO issues
  • Carrying out SERP analysis, keyword research and reviewing website templates
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and rankings
  • Work collaboratively with our Content team to ensure SEO is at the heart of content creation and optimisation
  • Ongoing technical maintenance of websites, running regular crawls and identifying technical issues or challenges, working with clients and developers to brief and implement fixes
  • Supporting clients with website migrations, relaunches and testing major changes to ensure they meet SEO best practice
  • Constantly looking for new, proactive and innovative ways to improve clients’ websites and search optimisation, including competitor analysis, identifying trending searches and changing industry standards
  • Client management including direct client contact and presentations, with support from the Client Servicing team
  • Proactively sharing and explaining industry news and trends, ensuring we are always up to date with changes

Data & reporting

  • Keyword research and categorisation, identifying target keywords based on intent and relevancy, and prioritising keywords.
  • Running regular weekly and monthly reporting on SEO performance, pulling out insights on changes and new opportunities.

People

  • Training and development of junior team members
  • Training and support for the wider agency and client teams across SEO

Skills & Experience

  • You have strong written English and grammar
  • You have at least 2 years’ SEO experience, ideally within an agency environment
  • You have proven experience in SEO that drives results
  • You are both a team player and ability to work autonomously
  • You have the ability to keep to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly
  • You posses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
